With a clear vision to become the market leader in catheter securement, Bedal’s products are already trusted and utilized in 34 countries worldwide.To accelerate the commercial roll out and gain market share rapidly, we have opened a newly created position and are therefore looking for an ambitious and energetic International Sales Manager.

what will you actually do at Bedal?

As International Sales Manager you are responsible for driving profitable sales turnover of Bedal products through distributor organizations & OEM company's with a separate focus on the Home care market. Currently, our exclusive distributor network spans 34 countries. In collaboration with the VP Sales, your primary responsibility will be to monitor and enhance distributor sales performance by providing ongoing support, including product launches, training, co-traveling, and regular performance reviews. You will also be tasked with developing and executing sales and marketing strategies in partnership with distributors to accelerate market share growth.

While your main focus will be on optimizing the existing distributor network, you will also be responsible for expanding it as new opportunities arise. This includes identifying and establishing relationships with potential OEM partners and exploring opportunities in the home care sector where applicable.

The International Sales Manager will report directly to the VP Sales.

your responsibilities

·       Meet or exceed sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

·       Analyze distributor/OEM sales performance and adjust strategy and action plans accordingly.

·       Pro-active management of contracts and agreements.

·       Develop and execute the right sales strategy and product positioning.

·       Providing sales & clinical support to distributors through meetings trainings and co-travel.

·       Frequent co-travelling with sales force of distributors. 60% international travelling expected.

·       Training and educating physicians, hospital staff and Bedal distributors on the use of the products.

·       Build and maintain the CRM system (SalesForce.com).

·       Maintain a good understanding of the applicable medical markets, its needs and requirements and its competitors.

·       Continuously search for additional niches / medical applications for Bedal products.

·       Provide feedback to Bedal management on market place trends, challenges, programs, response to promotion and product access.

·       Collaborate with Bedal management to establish goals and implement plans to enhance current skill sets and sales results.

·       Build and maintain constructive relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and reference centers.

·       Provide periodic sales forecasts and other metrics to the organization.

·       Represent Bedal at trade shows / workshops.

·       Ensure business ethics is in line with laws and company policies at all times.

·       Achieves prompt, mutually satisfactory solution to customers’ complaints.

·       Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

who are we looking for?

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. A Medical education is strongly preferred.

·       A minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience within hospital environment, selling innovative, premium priced, disposable products. Experience with managing distributors is preferred.

·       A demonstrable record of accomplishment in executing successful sales programs and new product introductions.

·       Hands-on profile, able to work independently under minimal supervision but also as a team player.

·       Effective communicator with logical, organized and tactical verbal, written, listening and presentation skills. Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills.

·       Smart negotiator, strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities.

·       Self-starter, result driven. Quality-oriented mindset.

·       High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness with strong work ethic.

·       Languages: Proficiency in Dutch (NL) and English (EN) is required. FR is strongly preferred.

·       Must enjoy to travel extensively, both within and outside of EU.
